In case you haven't already heard, Britney Spears new single "Gimme More" has just become the #1 song on iTunes. Not only is it the #1 song but it also the #1 ringtone. There comes a point when we just have to face it, Britney Spears is here and she's here to stay. I mean if she can honestly survive all of the above hair-do's and dont's and still come up with a #1 song, she is nothing short of an icon.
Britney's yet untitled album is slated to hit stores November 13th. This means that the album, which is already getting rave reviews, will be in direct competition with Alicia Keys' new album. Hmmmm? Should be an interesting week in album sales, but I'm going with Britney as the #1 album artist of the week and Alicia Keys coming in at a distant #2.
